FAQ
Questions parents ask
Do I need an account?
No. Birlikte never asks for an email, phone number or ID number. Open the app and add your pregnancy or your baby.
Where are my records stored?
On your phone, in an encrypted database. Measurements, visits, vaccines, notes and photos never reach us; we cannot see them.
What reaches your server?
For daily notes and notifications, if you consent: the due date or date of birth and the week of birth, whether it is a twin pregnancy, sex, language, country, time zone, notification times, your phone’s notification address and whether you opened a notification. Your child’s name is never sent. Our server is in Türkiye, hosted by Natro.
Does the virtual guide replace a doctor?
No. The guide gives general information with your baby’s age in mind; it does not diagnose or suggest medicines or doses. If it senses an emergency, it points you to emergency help straight away.
How many notifications will I get?
Two a day by default. You can choose anywhere from zero to three and change the times. You never get the same note twice.
What happens to my records if I change phones?
Create a password-protected, encrypted backup in the app and restore it on your new phone. Only you know the password; if it’s lost, the backup can’t be opened.
Can my partner and I share the same records?
For now, two phones don’t sync automatically. You can move records to the other phone by sharing a backup.
Is it suitable for babies born early and for twins?
Yes. For babies born early, development notes can follow corrected age. Twins have separate records, and every form shows who you are recording for.
What can I use without a subscription?
You can always view your records, create a doctor summary and a backup, delete your data and reach emergency help. New records, the virtual guide and daily notes are part of Premium.
Which languages are available?
Turkish and English today. German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese are in preparation.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Profile › Privacy and security to delete all your data in one go. Your record on our server is deleted with it.
